How do we communicate?

General Rules

When communicating, keep in mind Codeweavers tone of voice

What do we mean by this?
You can find Codeweavers tone of voice here and examples of how to use the voice.

Consider your words and your reach

What do we mean by this?
Have you considered all the factors surrounding what you are wanting to communicate. Think of positive words rather than negative ones. You also need to consider who can see it.

Edit, and spell check.

The best way of doing this:
There's loads of tools out there to help you edit and spell check your copy. The best thing to do is re-read over the copy you have produced and get a member of your team to check it. If it has a large reach we would say you need to send it to the QA team to proof. ✔️

Keep it simple. Don’t get too technical when it’s not needed

What do we mean by this?
We understand that sometimes you need to talk technical but consider the situation you are in. Can the person you are talking to understand what you are saying? Try not to use any jargon.

Make sure you talk like a person, adapt to the scenario faced

The best way of doing this:
This sounds a little obvious but it’s easy to start sounding like a robot when communicating. Make your communications conversational and clear.
