Every company has its mission statement, its reasons to exist, the things it believes in, its ‘values’. Very often, this just takes the form of a bunch of impressive-sounding but largely meaningless words on the boardroom wall.
At Codeweavers, we believe in putting our words into action in everything we do, living and breathing our five key values each and every day in every interaction both amongst ourselves and with our clients and business partners.
Love to improve
We believe that improvement comes from continual change. We question every aspect of our business and look for experiments to test the effectiveness of the changes we make. Continual improvement is our way of staying ahead.
Work collectively
We use the power of collaboration to solve problems and realise our potential. While we recognise individual contributions we reward the success of the team. Our strength comes from working together.
Be honest
We have a fanatical belief in being honest. The choices we make are governed by this belief and nothing is more important to us. We know that it’s better to have that difficult conversation today so that we can sleep well tonight.
Have fun
Work should be fun. We seek out stimulating, creative challenges that can be tackled by empowered teams. We encourage everyone to take responsibility for creating a workplace where fun can flourish and where everyone can look forward to Monday mornings.
Think long term
We are the custodians of our own work. Our strength comes from considering how the decisions we make today will affect tomorrow. It’s better to invest time now to ensure long term outcomes exceed expectations. We are not afraid to invest in the future.
